Started off the day with some swimming (my attempt to breathe and stay afloat would be a better way to describe it). I WILL finish an ironman in the years to come.

3 mile run at 6:23 pace. I'd say my knee felt the best it has since the 50 miler. Making progress.

Did a little snowshoeing for some cross training. 8ish miles. I was hiking on a road covered in snow cuz the roads are all blocked off.. It was great though! Saw some half eaten deer along the way too.

4 miles total. 2 One mile repeats at 6:00 pace. Felt good to get some speed in again (speed for me right now is a 6 minute mile :).

Recovering from injury is the best right? 2 miles at 6:40 pace. Slight pain in knee but making great progress. I keep saying that, and this time it's for real. Two months of hard training ahead. Praying I recover fully and stay away from injury. No more 50 milers until I'm ready! :)
